AI-generated art check thread

artist #258240. They've had one post deleted for AI-generation (which I remember was discussed here), but they currently have 5 other works which are active; at least one of which probably predates the AI-generation era.

This artist seems to now post both AI and hand drawn works. I don't see anything wrong with the posts currently active.

The AI resolution likely tipped the commenter's off, but it's better to give it a proper check here.

The art is simplistic, so it's a little hard to tell; however, there are a few things that are suspicious. The arch directly above her head isn't a clean curve; there's some undulations there that look odd to me, but that could be artist error maybe? the pearls aren't very clean circles either. I lean towards AI, but not certain.

pretty sure it's AI.
I commented there, but people seems to disagree, idk why.
The resolution is low, the nails are badly draw and IA detection flags 97%.

People downvoted you because you gave no analysis. This has nothing to do with right or wrong: an accusation without reasons and evidence is not constructive. Also please don't use AI detectors. They are themselves AI models. AI detectors are worse at telling AI from humans than AI generative models are at imitating art. Just train your own eyes with a lot of exposure to art.

That said, I agree this is a suspicious picture. The neck shading and the collar have unreasonable color patches. The sidelock melts together with the braid. The side braid and ponytail braid should be two separate things but they merge. The left arm armor is distorted. The back of her right hand is messy. Her shadow also interrupts the pattern on the round thing behind her.

Next time, when you're very confident something is AI, go straight ahead and flag it. You can flag this one for a start. If you're not so sure, come to this thread and list your reasons of doubt.
