Regarding the lines: Yes, this is the author's mistake, as she told me: “I was lazy and basically placed the lines randomly during the sketching stage.”
Proportions, shading, and contours: The problem is chromatic aberration, which was applied to different versions one by one but with different parameters (there is no standardization, everything is done manually). And yes, part of the art with the right leg (Kafka POV) was changed because the leg seemed too thick.
I am attaching link to video with the open psd file and layers:

This has me uncertain now, but I cannot conclude this is not AI-assisted from this video. What is shown is more akin to photo editing or post-processing: layers being toggled, lighting adjustments, glow overlays, and colour corrections. The back-and-forth in our discussion came from the fact that their finished works look AI-esque but polished; the video only demonstrates their ability to handle that polish and editing stage.
At no point are the foundational stages visible: no sketching, no line-art buildup, no colour blocking, not even the construction of the elaborate bra pattern. I do not see why they would avoid showing the actual sketching and colouring process if they want to truly remove all doubt.
