AI-generated art check thread

Flag without a tag. Artists other posts are tagged and deleted. Should I just tag it?

I couldn't see any clear signs of ai-generation in this post (there were a few suspicious spots, but none conclusive); however, I looked at another of their posts on Pixiv which has obvious AI artifacts. I think it's safe to say this is an AI-prompter account. I added the tag and wrote a note for the artist's page telling users not to upload their posts.

Edit: I looked at the flagged post again and spotted some AI-artifacts to the right of the tail. Definitely a prompter.

Hello Danbooru community,

I’d like to ask if I’m allowed to upload my AI-generated works to the site, provided that all of them receive manual retouching and editing (I work hard to remove AI artifacts).

In the upload rules I read that “Fully AI-generated art with no human input aside from prompting” isn’t allowed. After I uploaded my works, a moderator told me that AI-generated content isn’t allowed at all. After I explained that they were retouched, they suggested I ask here in this thread, so here I am. You can view my posts under the artist tag: superkica

I value the community rules and hope I can share my work here.

for our purposes, "human input" generally means things like an artist drawing from an ai-generated reference or manually tracing an ai image from scratch. you might want to check out https://aibooru.online, which is another booru (not affiliated with danbooru) specifically tailored for sharing ai-made images.

thank you for your reply, this is indeed a more suitable site for this type of work.

Having doubts.

This might be AI. Look at what happens at the bottom of the image. The hair melts into the sand, it has the same color at that point and there’s no line separating them. More noticeably, the leg is thicker on one side of the hair than the other; at the very least that’s a noticeable artistic error, but I think it might be AI-related. Never mind about the sand part, I mistook the sand for more hair. My point about the leg stands. Although, the rest of the image doesn’t look too suspicious, so I’m unsure now. I need a second opinion.

Art style is inconsistent on their Twitter page as well as some minor errors in some of the art pieces (such as buttons on both sides of a jacket)

Newer works have more obscured details, but I'm suspicious enough that I wouldn't upload anything.

The hair could be blocking the bottom half of the leg. This picture does have some strangely-shaped color patches, but I can't really find hard evidence.

Has one post deleted for being AI, the three that were freshly uploaded, the hair and hands just don't sit right with me. The twitter is rife with AI retweets, too.

The uploader of all three has multiple posts deleted for being AI generated too, if that matters.

100% AI. Tons of artifacts in all three pending works.

Not sure if this is the place to follow up but for lack of a better place to do so, was any kind of consensus reached regarding moetsukita and the works that have been deleted? Should they be appealed or just left as is?

I ask because I see that another piece from them has been uploaded, but not tagged with any ai tags as of when I'm making this post. post #9897589 to be precise.

Having said that and looking at the deleted posts it looks like at least one if not multiple members out of the approvers also believe their pieces to be AI generated, judging by the comment "If this is supposedly AI-assisted rather than fully generated, then it definitely feels like the AI did over 90% of the work." that's on quite a few of the rejections in the moderation queue.

I saw that there was something floated about potentially appealing the deleted works, but it seems that was never done?

I have no problem with tagging them ai-assisted and appealing them so approvers can judge their merit with the premise of AI assistance in mind, but seeing the results of past appeals I don't think any future appeal is likely to be approved.

I suggest adding ai-assisted to post #9897589 but it doesn't seem to need flagging.
