So it invites you inside, and you turn into a plant with a red flower. It initially uses the connection of a mother to lure people in, but Scavenger-chan talked to it while retrieving that last victim, letting it learn how to trick Friends, who do not normally have mothers.

Also it's quite interesting that Scavenger even knows what a mother is conceptually.

Did it really? Felt like all the speech bubbles came from Scavenger talking to herself due to their positions.
