Going by wiktionary it's an obsolete spelling for musket, closer to the Middle French for musket, mousquet. Did verify it does appear as the equivalent of "musquet" in the 1786 A Treatise on Ancient Armour and Weapons as cited by Wiktionary. Just replace the "s" with the "long s" in the spelling.
