What I've heard is that this event was exclusive to US and JP so I wasn't able to view it on either my desktop or app.

There are currently mass protests all over America, people are getting unjustly deported left and right, even to countries they're not from or speak the language, alligator alcatraz, Roe v wade was overturned, we're probably going into a recession, the job market is terrible, the government has been shut down for probably the longest it's ever been, government officials are actively fighting AGAINST releasing Epstein's list, the actual government is more concerned about fighting people on Twitter and posting AI generated images and videos than actually helping people, one of the people within the current administration is a crazy dog killer, people are losing their jobs and money thanks to tariffs while the government pays for luxury jets, the national guard is being deployed into multiple states under false accusations of terrorism, political violence on both sides is boiling resulting in people outright getting murdered, and probably at least a dozen other things I'm forgetting.

The US is going to shit, and it was going to shit four months ago when you made this post.

Also EA got bought by Saudi Arabia.

Should note on the EA thing, besides now being owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners (founded by Jared Kushner), the buyout also saddles EA with $20 billion in debt. Can assume with that much debt they're going to give us the most cheapest made products priced at the highest with the most amount of loot boxes, dlc, and other nickel and diming BS imaginable. If we thought they were bad now, we can definitely expect them going to be significantly worse.
