I was wondering if we should have a tag group wiki for trans stuff like how Wikipedia has one.
What I have in mind for said tag group wiki:
Symbols
Transitioning(?)
Surgery
Other
Unsure if there should be an attire category that includes chest binder and transgender flag print since it's just 2 tags. Surgery category could go to the transitioning category since it's considered a form of transitioning. I didn't put *** to scrotoplasty because trans men with metoidioplasty also get scrotoplasty and so far, there isn't a post depicting a trans man with metoidioplasty yet. While hormone replacement therapy, phallo and vaginoplasty aren't inherently a trans thing since they were originally invented for cis people such as cis people who don't have gonads, cis women going through menopause, cis men who lost their penises and cis women with short vaginal canals, they're heavily associated with trans people and how trans people pioneered sex reassignment surgery development so I'm gonna add them as well. You can apply this to mastectomy scars as well since cis women with breast cancer and cis men with gynecomastia get them but they're still heavily associated with trans men.
I'm not adding hysterectomy/hysterectomy scar, oophorectomy, salpingectomy or orchiectomy into the surgery category even though trans people also get them to prepare for sex reassignment surgery (or just hysterectomy for trans men who don't want bottom surgery) because they're still heavily associated with cis people as the majority of the oophorectomy posts depict cis women.
I could maybe add large clitoris/huge clitoris and clitoral penetration as testosterone causes the clitoris to enlarge as the clitoris is homologous with the penis, known as "T-dick" in trans communities. I'm unsure for ikea shark despite it being associated with trans people and in trans communities.
Non-binary (ex: non-binary flag) is debatable as there's binary trans people who believe non-binary is considered trans and binary trans people who don't believe non-binary is considered trans and that non-binary is its own thing separately (or straight up don't believe in non-binary).
But overall, is this a good idea or unnecessary for now?
