Gender Transitioning Wiki

A person transitioning to another gender or sex, such as gaining primary or secondary sex characteristics, or living as their acquired gender. This may include direct, implied, or stated depictions of gender transitioning.

This tag should not be used together with genderswap. Gender transitioning is for when the process of transitioning is portrayed (whether, for example, through immediate physical cues like a mastectomy scar, or implied by the presence of the transgender flag or through dialog), while genderswap is for magical transitions and "what if?" scenarios unrelated to real-world gender transitioning.

Use gender transition timeline for posts showing the before-and-after of transitioning. Use transformation instead if the manner of transition is magical or otherwise unrealistic in nature.
