This Art was so Masterpiece. It's nice to see Gacha Games Protagonist came Together.

Despite not being a gacha technically, is nice to see KanColle being represented, is an underated oldschool game, sometimes held up to standards of a competition the devs never considered being part of, KC does its own thing.

Also i can see it was very hard for the artist to get the right tone of yellow for the T head Admiral, isnt it? Probably because Aether has blond hair and having two characters with yellow being apart from each other messes up with the composition, even thought Dante and the Commander have red and are far apart as well.

The simplification from Nexon's official statement.

I'm just gonna have to fucking guess what you mean, because it seems like you don't actually know anything about what's going on so I don't know why you're even commenting on it.

They didn't "adjust" anything down. Everything is exactly the same, except now there's no Spark and you have a 50/50 chance to get the banner character at 100 pulls and 100% chance to get them at 200 pulls.

Something they're doing, and this is what I assume you're referring to, is a milestone system that gives you materials after doing a certain number of pulls, which includes 10-pull tickets. These tickets effectively "refund" some of your pulls, so 200 pulls is really 160 pulls, and 400 pulls is really 320 pulls.

This sounds cool, but it's a one-time thing. They're only doing that for this event. So it doesn't matter.

No need to be aggressive. I only want you to share all the information there is.

You should at least have the idea now how much frustration this brings to us F2P players that we have to plan our pulls every time something is announced in JP. We already know how to manage the previous system and now they are introducing another headache. Its like trying to touch something that is already working fine and decided to make it really bad.

EDIT: Yanno, between seeing Moon's anti-demon arrow not have much effect, and the slight soft glow of the chains, I have to wonder- just how close IS Judgement/Samael to her angelic nature?

I would really appreciate it if uploads from this artist were properly tagged with deviantart_logo. I've been adding it myself, and will continue to do so, so my blacklist will catch it (I have "watermark deviantart_logo" blacklisted because that specific watermark bothers me) but obviously the point of the blacklist is to avoid seeing it in the first place.

No shade to anyone, this is absolutely a 'me' problem, so I'll continue doing it if I have to.

@SunlessSpear If you see any more of these, you should also add deviantart username while you're at it since it always appears below the logo on this artist's works. I already added it to all of the current uploads with the logo.

Brother, that thing is wearing a cape, has heterochomia, one arm and thigh is wrapped in bandages, and the other arm looks organic and has spikes growing out the shoulder.
Even the bloody ankle guards have mismatched colors.
What bizarro realm do you hail from where this is a normal design?

Compared to Aerial and Gquuuuuux it is very much a return to normalcy.

Gquuuuuux I agree but Aerial? Beside the glowly bits on the body during Permet sync Aerial's appearance is pretty bog standard. If anything it's the most Gundam-looking suit in the entirety of Witch from Mercury. Pharact would be the better fit for "not gundam-looking" critique despite being called a Gundam.

Aerial just looks too round compared to most of the Gundams in my opinion.

The Hoyo pity system is so ass. Sure, you're guaranteed your character of choice earlier (in theory), since Hoyo games themselves guarantee a five star at 90 pulls, thus needing 180 at most, and pity carries over between banners, but sparking is still better overall because it isn't affected by the results of your pulls.
You could get the mythical double five star pull and you would still keep building pity towards a different character.
Just because Hoyo gets away with it doesn't mean other companies have to copy it, see OG Arknights vs Endfield.
And the devs actually changing the system for an existing game is not only scummy beyond belief, it also sets a terrible precedent for other companies to follow.
Hopefully the backlash will be enough to unfuck the situation.

Considering who is now leading the charge for the company trying to increase their bottom line?

I'm very doubtful they'll listen.

OG Nexon might balk under the backlash but an EA CEO?

They'll just double down on it.

Great example of rather than just increasing your bottom line you wind up destroying it.

And then there's Fate/Go. What it is now, something like 351 pulls before your guarantee? And there's 0 guarantee for 4*.
There are some that are thankfully kind to their players and can even be successfully played F2P but yeah most get blinded by that greed.

I hate Soderlund to an unhealthy degree. Draining the lake to get the fish faster. Bet he is behind western management's recent bs as well (very unlikely but I want to blame him anyway).

Yeah, hearing about gachas like this, I feel like SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is pretty lenient with its gacha system, what with the "Guaranteed UR (i.e, a 5-star) at 100 pulls" format they use by default, without even factoring in things like tickets for free pulls gained from various sources (most events will offer enough free tickets for a 10-pull on the limited banner for the event upon clearing said event's story missions, for one).

To be fair, FGO's gacha changes have been done to move in positive directions even if the pity is still ass (that's how low a bar Nexon has set). And when players created an uproar over how the servant coin system changes (adding two new useful passive effects) a couple of years ago indirectly makes the gacha worse the devs refunded all used coins up to that point and made changes to the coin system so that you're not pressured to pull for more coins by letting you change which passive skills to make active at no extra cost. FGO's gacha isn't great by an measure but the community generally is accepting of it due to usually(keyword) not needing dupes and how the game doesn't monetize anything else.

Nexon has recently come out with a "clarification" that there's a rebate system that gives back 40 free pulls leading up to the 200 milestone from what I understand (feel free to correct me on the numbers) but double downed on removing the spark system. They mentioned the rebate during the announcement but gave no details at the time so most senseis believe they were waiting to see how bad the backlash was before announcing how little of those free pulls they can get away with.

They also announced paid eleph packages from what I understand. And elephs were something that a number of senseis who push the harder content used the spark system to help alleviate the enhancement process so make of that what you will.

I still maintain that the milestone ticket system that Nikke and Trickcal are using is the best pity system since it's not directly tied to the ongoing banner and they basically never reset so you're offered a lot of flexibility on how you want to use it. Trickcal even additionally uses a spark system in its color banners so you can do multiple things in your game. Amazing.

There is a certain hypocrisy coming from Clumsy, Froggy jumps to conclusions and Glasses is devastated at the thought of giving up her little Elvis.

On that note: Elvis would have probably mentioned that he was a pet of someone else and the actual lost pet is on Clumsy's back of her head. She probably doesn't even notice that because she is used to that from the ducks, thinking it is a duck or a duckling.
