Stoic and distant due to a tragedy in her childhood, her gloomy nature attracts the concern and interest of several of her racing peers (most notably Narita Top Road and T.M. Opera O), much to her dismay.
She's nicknamed Ayabe which is a combination of "adomaiya" (Admire) and "bega" (Vega). The Umamusume franchise does not call her "Vega" because that's the name of the real-life horse's dam, and Ayabe's own mother is an unnamed Umamusume representing Vega in all but name.
