Compared to last 3 series or so, this one is actually closer to older series. Remember Exia Repair? This one gives that vibe.

Gquuuuuux I agree but Aerial? Beside the glowly bits on the body during Permet sync Aerial's appearance is pretty bog standard. If anything it's the most Gundam-looking suit in the entirety of Witch from Mercury. Pharact would be the better fit for "not gundam-looking" critique despite being called a Gundam.
