I’d say that looks more like two worlds there, Bedivere.

character request: I can't figure out who Gummy is talking to.
That's Caper's summer skin.
The real question is who the two figures sitting at the table in the background are. (Reed and Eblana?)

this uniform is an improvement over the one in the game
Yeah, seriously, for real, these are the uniforms we should've had for the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet games, not the totally bland & boring uniforms we ended up getting instead (There were so many ways to make school uniforms interesting, but yet, they went with, well, as we all know by now, *that* for the games instead... *smh* Also, no feminine uniform/clothing options for the girls in the Scarlet & Violet games, it's just... What?). Unbelievable they didn't give the main girl protagonist in the SV games this kind of school uniform that Liko gets to wear in the anime (Heck, they didn't even give us the option to wear a feminine schoolgirl uniform (skirt and all, the usual full 9 yards you'd expect) if the player wanted the main girl they play as in the SV games to wear that instead of the default uniform). Very disappointing. =(
Pokemon Players sure got the short end of the stick when it comes to clothing options in Gen IX. I mean, the main girl Liko has such nice & cool clothes in the anime, but yet, the main girl we play as for the games, well, not so much, suffice to say... All-in-all, this is a sad first for the Pokemon games as far as I'd know, I'll never understand why they did that. It's tragic, because they actually gave us some very good face customization in the Pokemon SV games (The hair color & eye color options are very nice, the hair style options are, eh, okay, I guess), but of course, at the same time, for whatever reason, they just had to plunge us into the abyss when it comes to clothing/uniform options & customization. Man, they would have totally knocked it out of the park on trainer customization in SV, had they continued on what they were building up on for clothing customization in the past/previous Pokemon games where trainer customization was present in. They were in slam dunk range... But, alas, they ultimately dropped the ball on this one... Oh, what could have been... =(
Lastly, just to throw this out there... I don't know about you all, but honestly, to me, Liko is (and looks) way more like the main girl protagonist I thought we'd play as for the SV games (Her character design is (and feels) far more in-line of what I'm used to seeing in Pokemon since, like, the beginning really (Like, see, her character design is cool, unique & has personality (Meanwhile, I am unable to share the same glowing sentiments I just said about Liko's character design in-regards to the main protagonists we actually play as in the SV games), much like how all the protagonists in Gens 1 - 8 had cool, unique designs that gave them life & personality)), if I had to say so myself, in-terms of, let's say, if we weren't gonna get to play as an older (e.g. teen) girl protagonist (Personally, I really like playing as a protagonist who is on the older side in the Pokemon games, if I had to say so myself), like we had in Pokemon BW, B2W2, XY, SwSh & PLA. That's what I think, anyhow, so yeah...

The Jack-o'-lantern twins are turning to normal?
They did that before as well, when ambushing the campsite (post #6877714). There's quite a handful among the mimics who could pass for human.

It's exactly as machan12 says. There are more pages to this part, but I'm not sure if it's worth posting them. There's no story, no stakes and no interesting monster designs in this part.
This feels like it's a good point to end on. If you want to continue, just head over to the artist's pixiv listed as source.

People really like neglecting details to push a stupid narrative without explanation...
Context for the unaware, in GF2 CN, the recently released the big dorm system allowing you to explore the place an interact with some assigned T-dolls, a lot of the features function similarly to GFL1's dorm system. Being recently implemented, the system has a few bugs and still needs some fine tuning. But thats not what people are complaining about, the system brought in another gacha feature which you can pull for some neat things.
Currently the on-going banner has 2 featured costumes, 6 modular accessories for both, 1 weapon skin and thai accessories, 1 special dorm animation (For makkiato) a player card icon, and some minor things. Dupes yield tokens of varied amounts which you can use to exchange for stuff from the gacha pool. This banner has a 1 year duration. You can get 1 ticket to pull from this gacha every week from weeklies involving this feature, plus around 30 free tickets from levelling up the feature and others, and you're guaranteed Klukais costume at 100 pulls. These tickets can also be bought using 120 medals (Premium Currency) for each ticket.
Thats not all, you can decorate the Elmo rooms through in-game currency obtained from weeklies and playing mini-games in the dorms and other interactions, so you dont have to spend a single cent for any of the features, but it also doesn't change the fact that you can also buy the furniture items using premium currency as well...
TLDR, nobody is happy with the monetary side of all this system has. At present, MICA has arranged for an offline meeting to discuss things regarding this system and potential changes for it. The meeting is going to happen on AUG 17th, with registrations to participate closing on... today as of writing this message, only 20 people are going to be selected to participate, preferably individuals who're local, but travel costs would be handled by staff if you're selected to paticipate.
My overall opinion towards the system isn't that different to many others, while I think all the monetary options is plain stupid, it is still entirely optional and not necessary, you can still get everything in the gacha pool without spending a cent. But if you really wanna get it earlier, you'd want to spend anywhere between 50 ~ 100, less if you luck out on pulls, more if your luck stat is in the negatives.
Apologies for the wall of text, but I feel stuff like this needs clarity and not more exaggerated misinformation.

lmao the mr pizza furniture costs more than the real plushie, besides everything you just said is a shortsighted/surface/whitewashed explanation, it will take a long time to buy/get these items (AND it IS time limited, compare it to the medal/glory store), the fact that the fucking interactions aren't included with paid costumes is just embarrassing, the interaction with klukai's swimsuit is just a prerecorded cutscene, you can fucking roll dupes of the accessories before you even get the corresponding costume
on top of that nothing stops them from adding more and more costumes to the gacha and i would rather not roll at all if i had to go back to the costume gacha from the first game

Dont get me wrong, I dislike all the disgusting monetary additions to the system, and hope they change things significantly and for the better, because having the furniture decorations cost the same amount for both premium and non-premium, is just god awful (The large Mr Pizza decorative item is 2000 furniture currency, and is priced the same for the premium side). I'd also argue that there is nothing stopping them from adding more avenues to getting tickets and furniture currency and other items in future events or activities. I also think adding the special dorm animations as a gacha drop from the pool is also plain stupid when it should've just been with the costume in the beginning (For makkiatos costume that is).
Admittedly, I'm not good at making concise explanations for these kinds of topic, there is a lot to cover and I never know where to begin. Even re-reading what I wrote, I'm a fucking idiot I guess, thats entirely on me. I dont have any excuse for an inability to explain things properly. I still believe I covered the things people are complaining about and want changed. Mainly the monetary side of things and lack of resources gained for the feature, and another time-gated gacha system (Even if it is 1 year duration).
