But hey, can you blame her? Misato is dangerous and a criminal, even if she does not look like one. And probably remembering those past chapters made Asuka think the only way to end up this is nightmare is terminating her. (Assuming my chronology is correct, of course. I wonder where's Shinji right now...)

I know you're probably joking, but I wrote my reasons above and tried to add some context to the situation 
Besides, that sweat on Asuka's face is suspicions... No, is not due to the heat, if that were the case, why Misato is not sweating too?

Tachyon rarely gets drawn with SS without Cafe around except as a Dark Side of the Horse joke. Adding Dasca turns it into three generations, solidifying it further. Basically daughter helping dad with crunch time at work while granddad decides to chip in a bit from the back.
