Is there even a way for a niche to safely exist anymore? Only temporarily, until it has to contend with meme culture. They got suspended because they got mass reported, that's all. I can guarantee you a real person wasn't involved in the suspension at all, nor will one be involved if the artist appeals the suspension. Loli/shota content gets posted to twitter all the time, no one cares until crusaders start filling mass reports and the moderation bots handle the rest. I'm not even sure it violates Twitter's rules. The exact rules:

The only reason any of this stuff gets people in trouble is because people report it, and moderation isn't handled by real people, not that I trust a real person would make the distinction between fiction and reality either.

Now that female Custodes are a thing, I really wonder how Games Workshop can justify female Space Marines not being a thing. And don't get me started on the Sisters of Battles, they're "just" highly trained warrior monks, they aren't the barely humans that the Space Marines are. For fuck's sake, it's the same shit with Ollanius Pious, he used to be just a man standing against fucking Horus, the first of the Primarchs, the Champion of Chaos, and what Failbaddon wishes he was. Then Games Workshop made him a space marines, then a terminator, then a custode, then finally an immortal, when him being just a man, just one man, was just what the story needed to prove how far Horus was gone, that he would deliberaly kill what was as dangerous as a newborn to him.
