Spoilers for the 3.5 anniversary event:

Given the revelations about Mustang in the 3.5 anniversary event, should we differentiate between past Mustang and current Mustang with different tags ala Andersen and The Legendary Commander? How should we tag past Mustang?

Edit: I'll just tag him as mustang_(past) for now.

You do realize that that movie focused on the 2001-gen, not the 2000-gen (Digi, Shakur, Tap), right?

Yeah but she had her Tenno Sho win completely erased to make Opera O invincible? or something?
So they can glaze Agnes Tachyon and Jungle Pocket to high heaven?
Same thing happened with Meisho Doto's Takarazuka Kinen win.

Imagine needing other people's achievement erased just to make a narrative work.

You mean the Tenno Sho that none of the major characters sans Tachyon (already retired IRL by that point) even considered running since the race was held 1 IRL week after their Kikka Sho? That Tenno Sho?

Now, maybe in a perfect world where Kaneko allowed Kurofune to be a real character in that movie, there might've been an entire subplot between Digi and Kurofune over the gaijin 'marugai' Tenno Sho slot. Unfortunately, this isn't the timeline we're in, so that race is completely sidelined in favor of a race the protagonist was actually in.

I just realized that, if a certain gluttonious rival of Equinox were to win the Arima (his retirement race) later this month, he'd join the 6th GI win club too...

Edit: Well that aged well...

Do Deuce still managed to win 5 career G1 races, and was the first male JRA horse to win at least one G1 race each year from age 2 to age 5.
