Panty or bikini straps visible above the waistline of the pants or bottoms, or through a hip vent or outward-facing thigh cutout. The former kind normally occurs with highleg or thong underwear worn high on the hips.

If the straps and the back panel are visible from the back and create a Y-shape, use whale tail.
