When the stomach is left partially exposed by clothing.
The midriff is the region of the body between the chest and the waist. Use this tag when the midriff is left bare by clothing too short to cover the stomach, e.g. a crop top and pants. The stomach shouldn't be exposed much more than navel-height, though it can be higher to accommodate high-waist clothing.
Don't use this tag as a replacement for the stomach tag, or when the stomach is fully exposed. This includes when the character is nude, topless, bottomless, wearing only a bikini or underwear, or when their bottomwear isn't visible. It may be used for underwear worn as outerwear, such as sports bras, camisoles, tank tops worn with panties, etc.
