Okay, I managed to catch this on the front page, immediately (and I mean immediately) after it was posted, and it was decently tagged, with the lone exception of the copyright tag. Made me think to myself, "Now that's probably the most amusing case of undertagging I've seen lately; like, c'mon, the copytag is right there in the character tag." This omission was corrected in the few seconds it took me to click on it, but I still felt like sharing.

Anyway, this viewpoint is making me think, "Uh-oh. Here's hoping my lung capacity holds up." (Very important, if you're inclined to repeat the experience.)

Alanis, killed by a schoolgirl named Mika (apparently not....)

This happens more often than you might think, even by experienced users, and they can remain untagged for hours. It's even more surprising when you consider that a warning message will appear if you don't add any copytags.

But it still doesn't compare to when users add a chartag with a copyright qualifier, leave out the copytag, and then tag it with copyright request. Even if there are multiple copytags that could apply and you don't know which ones are correct, you can still at least add the umbrella tag and copyright request instead of not adding any copytags at all.

For those unaware, IRL Deep Impact's nickname was Pui. (from Dhiipu Inpakuto.)

Which also happens to be onomatopoeic for a guinea pig's "wheek" in Japanese.
(Yeah, so Pui Pui Molcar is effectively Wheek Wheek Cavycars.)

Based on JP testimonials the Pui nickname didn't seem to have spawned until much more recently though. Contemporary JP keiba fans called him "Deep" from what I can tell.

@fuzzbawlz Do you see the producer's eyes right now, or are they within the frame but simply not drawn โ€” as in faceless male?

The producer isn't the main subject at all in this image, Hiro is. I feel like the head out of frame wiki is explicitly clear:

When the main subject's head is fully or partially cropped out of frame, but their torso is still in the frame. ... The main emphasis should be on a single character's torso. Do not use this tag for faceless or mostly out of frame background characters

If I was searching shinosawa_hiro head_out_of_frame I would expect to find images like post #10038415

no news on EN release

Cygames needs to have 100% unbreakable assurance from the EN fanbase that if they get a global release they'll be happy with whatever kind of treatment they are given and will become the perfect white knights. At least for the first year or so.

As long as Cygames actually communicates and interacts with their global crowd, something most every other Global release that continues to be successful has done, they have nothing worry about. Both parties have responsibilities if we want a successful launch. Besides, from what I've seen the EN Uma community is a far cry from the toxic Hoyo crowd or the gooning Blue Archive fandom.

Its sad to see the positive assumption aging like milk
