Spoiler warning on the 'how' part:
She is a part of a batch of military combat robots who's designed as intel/spy/infiltration operatives which comes equipped with holographic projection devices meant to disguise theirself as normal civilians. As the Hollow Disaster erupted, her batch effectively became useless and abandoned.

While the "human form" is cute, I would have preferred Aria to be only the robot one. The human version only serves to give fan artist as reason to not draw Aria, while pretending they are doing it.

I think the devs were scared she would not sell if she was only robot, so they made her human persona just to be safe.

So I just added in the names of the other six men here, I took these names from the Friends list in Rewrite. I could upload the notes that appear when you hover over their name in-game if required. Can I add the "aged_down" tag? This is when they're all a lot younger compared to when Rewrite happens.

Finished Rewrite a couple days ago and was admiring ZEN's work when I noticed that some really obscure characters weren't tagged, so I added in their names. The black-haired guy with red robes next to Midou (or Midow) is Tenma, the bald guy next to him is Tenjin, and the guy holding a spear is Luis (which I also changed from polearm, since Luis uses spears, not polearms). There's another ZEN artwork here that has the Bayern Knights, I'll get around to naming them now.
