You know, when it comes to Honkai, does it really deserve a look-alike since Hoyo is known for having expies? I feel like explicit expies should be a separate tag while look-alikes should be reserved for unrelated IPs
Look-alike is our tag encompassing that. The only thing that creating a separate tag for that case would do is fracture the tagging for other look-alike scenarios and make it confusing for people who don't know the specific reason. People should be able to find post #10871587 and post #11337763 all under one tag search.
Shouldn't Mika have 0/300 2206/3000 according to the nuke damage calculations? Also 396 more minerals pyroxene in 2 seconds? That's a beast macro play.

Also why does she only have 300 shields but 3 000 hp? Trinity cutting corners on shields, huh?
They just use the speaker or do video calls. We have seen this.
As far as I can remember (pulling on 10+ year old memories), cellphones did not have a speakerphone until the last decade or so, and only really started with smartphones. I had a normal cellphone until 2017, and I cannot ever remember any of them having that functionality. Perhaps they did in the later years, but I'm certain that the early period did not.
However, I will admit that this is the Umamusume universe, so perhaps speakerphones were integrated into all of the early cellphones? Although it would be interesting to see one of the horse girls use a brick cellphone (pre-2000) that was over a foot long. XD

Damn bro, did you grow up with cheap cell phones or something? I grew up in the 90s, and once we got to the flip phone age, all the ones I had had speaker phone functionality. As for smart phones, i remember smartphones all having speaker phone functionality even as far back as 2010. I will admit, some brands needed an extra downloaded app or update after launch, but it was definitely common enough along with the whole bluetooth ear bud craze during the 2013s when everyone looked like they were talking to themselves and you had to be like "is that person crazy or on the phone? they are probably on the phone but i can't see their ear bud cause they have long hair".
The Umamusume verse we've seen is pretty much a mirror to our modern times, so its perfectly fine for them to use speaker phones. We've also seen them use bluetooth ear buds as well. And as you know, the bluetooth earbuds don't have to be anywhere near your mouth to speak, its just a directional microphone that works surprsiingly well.

Probably lol. 😄 I got my first cell phone in my poor college student days (2000-2004). The normal cellphones I've had may have had a speakerphone. I just cannot ever remember using it until I got my first smartphone in 2017. I do remember using Bluetooth, but not until I got an "upgraded" cellphone after graduating.
@Rosie_Pascal you missed a space and accidentally added the tag untranslatable_commentaryfavgroup:55619. I can fix the tag but can't add it to your favgroup, so just a headsup so you don't lose this post.

So by now, I’ve fully grasped that, inside and out, except for the brain, a Nikke’s body is completely artificial but made to be as human like as possible while having typical robot stuff like cores and joints. Given they’ve mentioned cleaning out joints, would their skeletal structure have a 1:1 physical appearance of a human skeleton, just more robotic in nature?
The only thing i remember from canon scenes is Nikke's heads being cut off, and it doesn't seem to be a 1:1 skeletal structure. There also isn't a gyser of blood coming out either when Nikkes get beheaded, it's almost pretty clean with just some wires sticking out.
Could be blood censorship there, i dunno. The only blood i remember seeing is like some simple mouth blood which is more like "oil" or coolant running through their body.

Iirc, in SR Rapi’s Bond 4, it’s mentioned that a Nikke’s “blood” is a sort of liquid catalyst to keep things functioning (which I believe would also be designed to keep the brain alive, due to being the only organic part). At first, said “blood” was green, but after many Nikkes underwent Mind Switches due to seeing themselves bleed green, it was changed to a blood red color.
Anchor said in her bond story that Nikkes have cores instead, which is basically their equivalent of hearts. That said, I'm not sure if the cores are actually made to resemble hearts...
