hugo is a cool character, that will flop hard, he needs a two stunner team that have to stay on field and do no damage outside the stuning window, I just don't have any team for him and I doub many newer players will have either

Maybe use Trigger and Pulchra?

Okay, I understand that, and I will apologize for my earlier comment, but then again, my brother in Christ, it's been 2 YEARS! I think that's more than enough time to eventually translate this bruh ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿฅ€

The apology is pointless if you're still going to complain afterwards.

Sure, it would've been nice if BrokenEagle98 said "Sorry, I don't have time to translate this right now. Maybe someone else can do it" or something, but that's a luxury. It would be easy to forget something like this if some real-life issue came up all of a sudden. It's really not that big of a deal.

personally I like AI art when it is done well. There is good AI art just like there is good human art, and there is terrible AI art just like there is terrible human art. i would only ever flag something if it is in very poor taste or illegal. I was simply curious about the rules and why they seem so random and biased is all.

The rules of this entire website seem so strange. It must seem like I am just trolling, but that really is not my intention. I just don't understand why AI is allowed but only if some moderator likes it or not. And at the same time no 'paid content' is allowed... why? And loli/shota is only allowed... if you pay money for a pass?

Genuinely who made the rules of this website?

First, loli and shota are allowed in general, you just can't see it with a basic account, and buying an account upgrade hasn't been possible in like eight years.
Second, paid content isn't allowed because sharing images paywalled by the artists is simply a dick move.
Third, fully AI-generated images aren't art, they're slop spat out by an algorithm, and the point of danbooru is to be an art archival site.
In addition, artists can file takedown requests and have their art permanently removed from the site, which is relevant for the second and third points, because effectively robbing them of potential income and hosting images generated by models trained on stolen art is a great way to piss them off enough for them to go out of their way to have all their art taken down.

In short, the site does have some very stupid tagging guidelines, but the rules do make sense.

I really am trying my best to not sound argumentative.

I disagree on all fronts. Loli/shota is locked behind a paywall that you cannot even pay to see anymore?

Protecting artists that don't allow anyone to see their art unless they pay money?

Calling all AI-generated art 'algorithm slop'? There are AI-generated illustrations that are truly beautiful. They are rare, but they do exist. I dislike or don't really care about most AI art, just like I dislike/don't care for most hand-drawn illustrations. But beauty is subjective, as the moderators that judge it seem to understand. The rule I am confused about is how much exactly does the human need to draw, because I see many AI posts with hundreds of likes that do not seem hand-drawn in the slightest.

The rules do not make sense to me is all.

let me put it another way.

let's lock Yuri and Yaoi behind a paywall that no one can access too. Let's lock furry and dark skin there too. Hell, let's lock nipples pussy and penis behind a paywall. Why would this make any sense? Does locking loli and shota make any more sense to you? if so, why?

for Patreon/fanbox/etc users: same logic, but at least you can actually pay to see their work I suppose. But why doesn't everyone who makes art just put it on Patreon? That way you must 'support' the artist. The people who post to Patreon don't usually even care about the work they post there, and you can tell. I have seen many artists that give passion and soul to drawings they actually care about, yet churn out actual hand-drawn 'slop' when it comes to commissions for characters and concepts you can easily tell they are only drawing for money.

And finally the AI-assisted thing. It seems I am the minority and that's fine. But let's say loli is banned right? The guidelines for what is and is not loli seems fairly clear, I don't see many posts that can be argued to be called loli even though the tag loli is also ambiguous. (oppai loli, mature females with flat chests, etc). Yet I see many posts made by AI approved, some that are tagged AI assisted and some that are not tagged as AI at all.

I am just screaming into the void... don't mind me...

There are other ways to upgrade your account. If you put in enough work to improve the site (including but not limited to tagging and uploads), you can be promoted to Builder rank. Alternatively, you can get Platinum by winning one of the Platinum raffles held occasionally in the forums. And both of these are better than Gold.

Yes, because we're not thieves.

AI isn't just unpopular here because of a few bad fingers. It's also because a lot of the art used to train the AI was done so without the artists' consent.

The rule I am confused about is how much exactly does the human need to draw, because I see many AI posts with hundreds of likes that do not seem hand-drawn in the slightest.

Our approval system is not based on popularity. A post can be both popular and still against the rules.

As for the amount of human involvement, there isn't really a hard line, but the more human involvement, the better. Note that while AI-assisted posts are technically allowed, they're still borderline and are inherently less likely to be approved than something entirely human-made.

Because loli/shota content is much riskier than any of the others you mentioned.

That is a massive overgeneralization, and even if it were true, how would that justify us stealing paid content from them?

Again, not all AI-generated posts are immediately spotted. Even experienced users upload them by accident. If you see one that you are certain is AI, then tag it and flag it, preferably with evidence for the post being AI.

And loli is meant strictly for characters that look prepubescent. Its proper use is not ambiguous. Mature females would not apply for the tag. Oppai lolis are more of a grey area because how mature they look can vary. Some are clearly young but still have decent overall development, while others just look like little kids with huge boobs tacked on.
