AI-generated art check thread

Might want to check if it was a user-added tag if the only point of suspect is that there's an AI tag, especially if it's something like this where only a single work or so are tagged with it. Some people engage in some serious bullshittery on Pixiv, even some Danbooru users/lurkers, adding AI tags to justify flagging or tagging here. It's ridiculous. Once in a blue moon you'll see a post get flagged with "tagged with AI on Pixiv" and it's blatantly human drawn. See post #8349064 for reference.

I did check for that, but I didn’t see evidence of it; if I had, I wouldn’t have asked here. Thanks for the replies though, I was rather upset when I saw that tag yesterday.

A bunch of flags on this artist asking for AI-checks instead of asking here. Hair might be slightly sus but I can't really tell.

That artist had a number of posts flagged and deleted six months ago; however, I think those may have been bogus flags. post #9069384 in particular seems to be human drawn. I’d love to know what the reasoning behind those original flags was. I also searched for any previous posts here about them; seems like your comment is the only one. Edit: I spotted what may be an artifact on the weapon. asset #32697245. I don’t see any obvious artifacts on the post you linked; I’m unsure what to think about them now.

A discussion regarding the artist’s(?) older works is in forum #345474, which uses an aliased name. Nothing about the new posts though.

lapis slopzuli was flagged on most of their art for ai_generated based on something on their twitter(the bit in their bio I expect), but I'm not fully convinced many of their artpieces as a whole were produced by a software algorithm, unless there's a particular one good at making that exact doodled look over and over consistently with the rough lineart.

post #9839435 seems definitely to have the tells of ai-gen or ai-assisted for its coloring, but testing post #10034611 gets me both positive and negative results based on various ai detectors, which I know are unreliable. Decopy.ai said it was 100 gen'd but gave me a big boat of text also saying it was manually produced. I think some second opinions are warranted here.

AI detectors are completely worthless at best and extremely misleading at worst, you should not be taking their results into account in the slightest.

The nipple , the bellybutton and the hair around on the bra strap look weird, but I wanted a second opinion

AI account, look at the lamps in the background, the nipples, the collar in pixiv #135210983, etc.

Same as above, every post is heavily artefacted. AI can produce sketchy styles just as well and consistently as any other style with the proper tags or LoRAs. For instance look at the glasses' hinges in post #9839435, the crown and necklace in post #9979994, the pants' patterns, arm tattoo, left hand and collarbone area in post #9814952.

I'm not really sure how to ask, but the user redpostit posts very often on Twitter, and a lot of their posts uploaded to this site are tagged as ai-assisted, but a lot of uploads don't.
Why is that? Are they not all ai-assisted?

The most likely reason is inconsistent tagging. Some users are less thorough than others, some may not care or know that the art is ai-assisted, or sometimes they may simply forget to add the tag.
