Jewelry Bonney's transformation (spoilers for Egghead arc)

Currently, Jewelry Bonney's cloud-haired mimicry of Monkey D. Luffy's Gear Fifth form is lumped into the gear tag. This isn't entirely accurate, though, since she has her own devil fruit power that works differently from Luffy's. It has the additional caveat of spoiling people who think they've seen everything after seeing all of Wano (lmao), only to get flashbanged by the implication that she uses this form when they search gear fifth.

I've compiled favgroup #53496 for these posts, but I'm stumped on whether it should be a gentag or a chartag. A general tag would follow precedent for tags for One Piece forms (I've only ever seen the Gears tagged), but I have some bones to pick about that myself. I'd much rather make a character tag, but that would shake up the current tagging scene, as there are no character implications aside from Sogeking (a paper-thin disguise) and Law-chan (a canon genderswap), and then I'd have to deal with the gear tags.

Going with my first option, a character tag for Bonney's Gear Fifth-like form. Everyone knows nothing ever happens with no BUR. With this, the only outliers are characters "borrowing" Gear Fifth, like post #7659042 (Miku, naturally). What do we do with these?

In my pursuit of eventually making (gear_second OR gear_third OR gear_fourth OR gear_fifth) -monkey_d._luffy yield no results so they could imply Luffy as chartags, I found that there are quite a few characters borrowing gear second as well (post #221832). I added Luffy's tag to them as well as pose imitation, but I wonder if that was the right choice. Do we maybe need a borrowed power tag as well?

We don't have a way to tag poses associated with a single character in general. It's always been a background issue, for example earlier for post #11126752 I was forced to add some character tags for a scene reference because I couldn't find a way to tag it otherwise.

A few years ago I ended up creating pose tags for all jojo protagonists for this same reason: kujo jotaro's pose, giorno giovanna's pose, etc.

It's worth pondering how to standardize all this stuff. I might open a thread about it but I'll need to rotate the noggin around it first.

Ive thought about it, and the only thing I can think of is the old talk about pool:In_Memoriam from topic #29757. Something like monkey d. luffy (reference), a tag for all the references to luffy or his poses when he's not in the picture or it's not a cosplay tag. But it's a big can of worms that would require a large discussion around it.
