i'm not sure combing through every ancient deleted image on the site and posting the untagged artists here is a good use of the thread. while that ought to be done, it'd be better to leave it someone who's actually capable of reading artist names than just burying every post in this thread every time you find something.
this most recent one had three or four obvious choices, only one of which required very basic japanese. i filled out the artist entry anyways:
shousa_(sakon20) (post #646042), from the artist's profile + the pixiv account name listed in the source on this very site.
Accidentally made artist #172295 when his entry already exists, not sure why artist search wouldn't bring him up when I put in both his twitter and pixiv URL addresses.
If someone can remove the artist #172295 entry, that'd be appreciated.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this thread was for posts that needed to be assigned an artist (where their name wasn't in simple hiragana or katakana), and I didnt't know where else to go. But if it were better off asking for an artist in a different thread I'd like to be directed to that one.
Also again please correct me if I misunderstood you but I didn't know that if different levels of Japanese were understood that our artist names go elsewhere, I wasn't aware pf a certain distinction in which Japanese names go in one thread and other Japanese names go in another.
Also again apologizing for another question but I didn't think editing editing the same forum post would cause other posts to get drowned out? From what i've observed being on the forums I didn't think an edited would cover up another usesr's unlesss you reply after theirs in a new post.
If the rules stating that were not written out in the site guiedlines I suggest to either add them in, or add to help:forum or in a sticky thread so that other users notice.

I noticed one artist with years old pixiv entries had a few recent twitter entries posted into an entirely new artist page and figured it would be a little more convenient to place them all together.
Okay, I already posted this before, but post #3175734 is by a Tanaka Masayoshi completely different from the one we currently have tagged. The one we have tagged is spelled 田中将賀, and the one from the post in question is 田中政好. How do we disambiguate between the two? Yande.re's solution was tagging the new one tanaka_masayoshi_(artist), but that obviously isn't going to work for us.
Also, Dolls Order has two character designers that I can't track abyss and Yagi (山羊). We already have multiple artists that use these names, and I can't find which ones are these.

Follow up on the Tanaka Masayoshi thing. I found out the guy works for Studio Deen, so I tagged him Tanaka Masayoshi (Studio Deen). The other Tanaka Masayoshi might need a parser so his page can become a disambig one.
On a completely different thing, post #3142517 credits the artist as 森本由布, which Yande.re tags as Morimoto Yuu. However, the name is one kanji away from Morimoto Yufuki (森本由布希), an artist who did Nanoha Detonation images for Megami's last two issues (post #3175871 and post #3207293). As such, do we want to assume 森本由布 is a typo of 森本由布希, and the artist is indeed Yufuki?
