I'm genuinely surprised that there is almost no fan-art of this game. Despite the cast being full of attractive anime-girls and the game being as good and as unique as it is.

I agree they are black bloomers, I mean, what else could they possibly be, bike shorts or short shorts? Odd that that tag was specifically removed by another user, but a 10% chance they're not is as good as 100% chance to some people.
