I don't think that's a perfect comparison, at least regarding this image.
Compared to those falconry gloves, Skyla's right glove here is tighter around the wrist at minimum, and Skyla's left glove here allows for more dexterity than would be expected with loose gear. Together, they create the impression that the gloves match the shape of her hands.
