This is overkill. Akane alone would be enough to take Maomao out.
To be fair, Akane did get better later in the manga. Not *good*, but better. Also, unlike the other characters save Yor, she *knows* she is a bad cook and tries to get help during one of the Nodoka stories.
Right around the Ryugensawa arc, she was actually able to make curry.
I've never understood the food of doom trope. Like, how do you not sample your own food to make sure it doesn't taste awful? And even if it does taste good to you, it may not appeal to others. Those are the most essential rules one needs to know and follow when it comes to cooking.
In Frieren demons are a humanoid species that evolved from magic beasts. They are not from Hell, they are not the disciples of the Anti Christ or Satan or Lucifer or The Devil, thus the cross does jack all.

Neither harming the devil, nor protecting them from the white haired Elf.

If so, go into this painting right now and save her. In Japan, people who can't act like you are called "Ikiri Otaku."

Six months after this was submitted, a USAF F-15 was shot down by enemy fire. Did those who failed to approve this know???
(no)
(This also doesn't count the four F-15s shot down by friendly fire. And... hey, wait, there were two F-15s that were shot down by the Iraqis! Why aren't they counted?)

I think the record is for air-to-air engagements. All the F-15s shot down were from Anti-air.
