In hentai, they are usually used as a viewer self-insert character, and being paired with younger or more attractive women, through either rape, prostitution, blackmail, or other types of objectionable behavior. This character type is especially prevalent in the netorare genre.
The "vanilla" genre of hentai sometimes contains the opposite version of this character type: a man that is fat and sometimes even ugly, but a genuinely good person who treats his bedfellows well; this character type is sometimes called "big beautiful man".
