https://x.com/elfe_art/status/2046507097077035436 The artist stated that the artwork itself was created without any reference to military actions or encouraging of such actions. And according to this article https://t.me/ggscg_tg/8937 the reference image is freely available online and was actually generated by AI.

Yet another Twitter bullshit case where a girl was bullied for made-up reasons. They saw a ruined post-Soviet building right away and immediately started imagining things, spreading hate and blaming Russia and Russians for everything, and slinging mud at them. Is drawing fictional things now considered terrorism?

I may add more details in the comments if necessary or if I forgot to mention something. If anything, I like both nations and I'm born as Ukrainian myself.

Okay, so they did not intentionally create nationally-racist art, but nothing is created in a vacuum. Did they seriously at no point ask themselves 'could this be construed as anti-Ukranian in any way shape or form'?

You must be completely tone-deaf to draw anime girls exploding an apartment building while your country commits genocide in another country, and think that people won't (rightfully) hate you for it.

Imagine the shitstorm if the artist was Israeli instead.

Artistic error for Kazari's shoulder's outline appearing in the middle of the wine/pink liquid. I hate it.

Anyone can fix it (remove the outline, or color the 2 parts of the wine differently) and post it here?

Not an artistic error. It's a way of showing the liquid is (semi-)transparent. Tag removed.

You are free to continue hating the technique, of course.

It's an artistic error. If you are interested, transparent, semi-transparent, translucent etc show you how objects looks behind a semi-transparent objects. Spoiler: outlines don't randomly appear in the middle. It's not how the world (or art) works.

If a common technique like this counted for artistic error, then so would sideways mouth and eyes visible through hair. These are deliberate stylistic choices.

Third-party edits like that are against the rules. You were already told this before. Read help:upload_rules if you need a refresher.

Perhaps I'm not interpreting what you're saying correctly, but the line visible within the liquid doesn't look random at all to me. It's the line of her shoulder, clearly connected to the curve of it above and below the liquid. There isn't any background detail in the wall behind the rest of the liquid, so there's no other details showing through.

Now, could this effect have been done better? Perhaps. The artist could have distorted the outline to account for the refraction in the liquid. Or they could have used a reduced opacity on the wine overlaid on previously existing color (if their art software was capable of it). They seem to have opted for this simplified representation instead. Based on this reasoning, I still contend the line of her shoulder being visible, in and of itself, is not random.

That said, I'm not about to get into a tag edit war over this, either.

If a common technique like this

Show one other example where the supposedly transparent/semitransparent object is solid colored, the outlines behind it appear on them, and the outline is the same color as normally.

This is an error in coloring and composition/layering, exactly what artistic error is for.

Third-party edits like that are against the rules.

Oh I meant the comments. I wasn't thinking of posting it on danbooru as a picture, but that would make sense if the edit is high quality enough.

We don't make exceptions for "high-quality" edits. Comments are one thing, but uploading it as a post would absolutely not be allowed.
