She's a goddess that actually cares for her followers. In the final episodes of the second season, Aqua show some nerve equivalent of a 'mama bear' usually has when her 'holy city' was in danger.

Either Aqua's only just then finding out that they're (more than six months) pregnant, or she's upset that Kazuma spent her booze money on Darkness' maternity armor.
