saruman
Saruman, also called Saruman the White, is a fictional character of J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings. He is a wizard in the form of an eldery man with a long white beard, white robes, and wields a staff.
He was one of the five Istari, along with Gandalf and Radagast, who formed the Order of Wizards, sent to Middle-Earth to guide its people.
He is portrayed by Sir Christopher Lee in Peter Jackson's film adaptions.
