A 2025 science fiction and mecha anime television series produced by Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion) and Sunrise. It is part of the Gundam franchise, is directed by Tsurumaki Kazuya, co-written and produced by Anno Hideaki, and has mechanical designs by Yamashita Ikuto, who created the robots for Neon Genesis Evangelion. The series has 12 episodes. It also has a compilation film titled Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-.

GQuuuuuux takes place in Universal Century 0085 (85 years after the creation of the first permanent colony in space) in an alternative timeline where Zeon successfully captured the RX-78-2 Gundam, which changed the outcome of "The One Year War" (U.C. 0079).
