RGM-79 Light Type Guncannon

In an alternate universe where the RX-78-02 Gundam was stolen by Char Aznable, the equivalent of the GM became based on the Guncannon instead of the White Gundam. Visually, it is a combination of the head and body of a Guncannon with the limbs of the RX-78-02.

It is armed with a shoulder beam cannon, a beam saber, a beam rifle, a chained ball (the "Gundam Hammer") and a shield.

One unit with the white gundam colors was piloted by E.F.S.F. MS Newtype ace Sayla Mass and it became the nemesis of Char Aznable's Red Gundam.
