A mecha from Gundam GQuuuuuux. Its name is pronounced "gee-FRED", after the computer science metasyntactic variable fred.

gMS-κ Gundam FreD

The second Newtype use mobile suit of the Gundam GQuuuuuuX line developed by Zeon from technology tested in the Red Gundam and the GQuuuuuuX. It can be remotely operated by the Newtype pilot and is equipped with powerful beam weapons and a couple of funnels located in the unit's head when not in use, that make it seem that the MS has cat ears.

It has purple and green colors like those of the EVA 01 from Evangelion (which was also designed by Yamashita Ikuto).

The GFreD is piloted by Nyaan.
