sunrise (company)
A legendary Japanese animation company. They are mostly known for their super robot and mecha shows. Currently under the ownership of Bandai, who acquired the anime studio in 1993.
In February 2022 it was announced that in the beginning of April 2022 that the company would be reorganized and consolidated with Bandai Namco Arts Inc. and Bandai Namco Rights Marketing Inc. into the new company Bandai Namco Filmworks, with the name Sunrise becoming a brand name.
