Hair that expresses a character's emotions, such as excitement or depression. Signified by flapping, lowering, or (in the case of an ahoge) wilting, standing up, or forming shapes such as a heart or question mark.
Not to be confused with prehensile hair, when hair is being actively used as an appendage, tool or weapon.
