Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Posted under General

Fremy was joking. He can not speak for the approvers, but his implicit point is correct. Accusing the moderators and approvers of being biased for any reason cause they don't approve a pic isn't going to help getting images approved here.

I explained to you a few days ago that you need to just pick better images to upload. The content could be men, or women, or non-humans or landscapes, as long as it's good, then you'll be fine. I in particular didn't much feel like approving the image you posted 3 days ago for not reaching my standards of anatomy. The process is similar with all approvers, who each have their own standards and things they're willing to let slide. If no one liked the image then its a sign you should take to heart in the future.

For an idea of what is a good thing to upload, look at some of our resident contributors, including user #49984, user #30072 and user #266329 as examples. Get more invested in the image discovery process and the images you pick should succeed. And again, spend some time reading howto:upload.

I couldn't tell if benji 29 was serious, not Fremy. Also, did you mean to post links to users to links to image posts?

Was addressing Benji29 directly to get him to look at some people who are good examples. I'll fix the links in a moment, just trying to get it across to benji.

But that is not the answer about why you deleted my last post, other users posted similar pics with same artist, all approved and just me didn't approve it

I am not talking about screenshot.

PLEASE

I mean the last pic I posted 3 days ago about Kanno Naoe

I already pointed it out, it lacks good anatomy as I already explained - the legs and hips look off, especially around the pelvis. The linework isn't anything special and the coloring isn't either. Look at the examples I linked of people who upload high quality art for a comparison of what a good upload catalog should be. You can go ahead and appeal your image once. Beyond this, the only thing you can do is accept if one of your uploads are deleted and move on with more, and importantly, better uploading.

Also, no one deleted the post. Danbooru deletes images automatically if no one approves them. Pick images approvers want and like, or that are decent, to solve the problem of deletion happening in the future.

Any reason for post #2592852 to fall by the wayside?

I wanted to change things up a bit by submitting art for the dungeon_and_fighter tag that isn't fanart of a soon-to-be-released class, only to find out that 4 moderators didn't like it. All I can really think of is that it looks "too Western", if that makes any sense - some of the fanart that gets approved on the game's Facebook page is made by Western players.

I could understand if the quality sucked, but nobody who disapproved of the picture used the "poor quality" reason, they just "didn't like it". So I'm a little confused. I get that approvals are sometimes subjective, but when "didn't like it" becomes the general reason, it's kind of hard to tell who actually didn't like it and who just don't really care enough to give a reason.
