About post #10784309 post #10927026 - I'm currently parenting existing post post #10784290 and post #10784309 under new posts, however the existing 2 post is with a twitter source, while the new 2 posts with pixiv source. There's also a pixiv version for existing two posts, to secure from duplication, I only uploaded 2 variants haven't been uploaded. Should I upload the pixiv version of existing posts and tag them again?
Moreover, will 2 images with same resolution but the only difference in size and idk sampling value be considered duplicated? Do we need to archive them?

If the pixels are exactly the same (which you can verify at https://duplicatebooru.zipfiled.info), then you should not upload it.

If the resolution is the same for both and the image you want to upload has fewer artifacts than the existing post, then you should upload it and make it the parent.

You should tag the images again, but it's easy since you can just copy everything from the edit box to the new post (though you may need to change the metatags in some cases). What I would do is make sure the existing post is tagged thoroughly, then copy the tags, upload the new post, and paste the tags.

File size itself doesn't really matter, but it can hint at things like whether the image is compressed.

Well, that is the typical example for the difference between the "good stuff" that is approved automatically and the "terrible stuff" that needs approval...

Arguments against deletion of the "good stuff":
- Good stuff
- Not against the rules
- No interest

Arguments against approval of the "terrible stuff":
- Bad anatomy
- Exaggerated proportions
- No interest (don't ask for the reason!)

It got approved 😊

I could let things like the 90 degree spine and the hips slide with the style, but it was more things like the chest and hands being obviously bad that made me not like it. My stance on anatomy for more regular styles is usually to do with things being possible for even just a slightly flexible person, or to do with how much it actually affects the overall image. For the example you responded with, I think there's a chance I'd approve if it was drawn better overall but will never know because it's not.

I personally think approvals are in a good place right now. A batch of new approvers I don't feel would do anything but it's not my call.

This is the thread to go to but you're meant to wait until they're actually status:deleted and not pending still. I don't like post #10916433 for the arms, but it's also not really a style I like either.

For post #10904236 I think their heads look too small, especially Kronii's. Her ass also kinda looks weird.

For post #10571141 it's the hands, specifically the fingers. The way they go around her cheeks/chin look a little weird. Maybe another approver might not think that's enough to disqualify it from approval upon appeal but I wouldn't bank on it.

You can see some crease lines from the scan.

I don't think post #10914972 is as good as the one's that now have been approved.

I think most of these sit on fringe, but fringe in the sense that I don't think they'd be approved, at least not by me. This includes your second message below too.

Dear Stuff

This artwork was downloaded directly from the original source. I have already uploaded this artist’s work about two times before, so I’m not sure why this one has not been approved.

Could you please review it again and consider allowing it through? It is genuinely a very good piece of artwork.

If it still cannot be accepted, I would really appreciate it if you could let me know which rule it violates so I can understand and avoid the issue in the future. Thank you for your time and help.

I wanted to know why my last two pieces of art were deleted

This is my first time posting on Danbooru could someone explain?

I went ahead and approved these. Sometimes the art that is currently under review isn't up to the standard or taste of the reviewers that are available (we aren't getting paid for this and sometimes we get busy!) Sometimes the folks that are available don't have an interest in furry art or Pokemon art, or any other reason that they decide that the piece isn't for them.

When you art isn't approved, the first step would be to "appeal" the art to put them back into the queue. This would put more eyes on it, and it is the required first step before coming here for feedback.

I find the poses to be interesting from this artist. Is the art style the issue here? (these 4 are from same artist)

Those first two are definitely in the ZUN style, but they are also a bit basic. With a very simple style like this the art needs to be of professional quality and design to get approvers interested in keeping it. Something to keep in mind is that approvers can go through hundreds of pieces at a time and the ones that we want to approve are the ones that we think are worth preserving!

The art from iwoillust have a more refined style, and imo are worth appealing. Of the four, I think 10722493 and 10722447 have the best shot. 10876674 has Maribel have a really weirdly long neck, and I can appreciate what 10722505 is trying to do, but it's not quite at a quality that I think effectively conveys what it is portraying.

it got flagged as being AI generated content from what I can see.
