Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Posted under General

That's fine, just make sure it's tagged as AI-generated and let it expire in the queue. There's no sense in manually deleting this ahead of the 3 days since it's clear you just made a mistake, otherwise it would block 5 slots from you for 3 days.

To whom it may concern,I uploaded post #10968596,which is related to post #8004205. The post is still pending approval. However what I am unsure of,is which one should be the parent post. On one hand, post #10968596 might be the parent post for its higher resolution and is a more completed version of post #8004205. On the other hand,in the original source(https://www.pixiv.net/artworks/121516015),the illustration in post #10968596 was actually put under the illustration in post #8004205.Due to aforementioned sircumstance,I don't know which one should be the parent post. I don't know which thread is more appropriate to ask the parent-child post related question so I post my question here.

TLDR: parenting: post #10968596 vs. post #8004205.

In this case, the order they're displayed on Pixiv doesn't matter because there's no actual intended viewing order. It's just the same image (the cropped one is a bit darker, but it's not a significant difference) with the first one being cropped. You parented them correctly.

I don't think we have a dedicated thread for parenting questions (though we probably should), so it should be fine to make a new thread next time. Questions about parenting don't really belong here.

People have been asking for a thread where feedback on uploads could be obtained. So here it is. I have some reservations about how acrimonious this thread is likely to get, and if it turns into nothing more than a flame-fest, I will lock it.

Rules for those requesting feedback:
#1 - You are not guaranteed feedback. It is entirely voluntary to give it.
#2 - Danbooru may simply not be an appropriate place for your favorite art. If so, accept this and move on.
#3 - Try not to be too thin-skinned,and don't take things personally.

Rules for those giving feedback:
#1 - Give constructive feedback only.
#2 - Refrain from name-calling. Asking people to be thick-skinned doesn't mean you're allowed to be insulting.
