I can't find any logical reason why they wouldn't approve the image.

The reason for this is usually the gap between rich and poor. While the rich can upload their trash without any permission, the poor must submit to the mercy of a privileged few who look down on the hard work of the poor.

post #10838850 - Long, off-putting neck.
post #10853053 - Torso doesn't really make sense.

post #10523362 - Personally not a fan of styles like this so can't comment other than with that.

Judging by the number of likes, people liked it, so why was it deleted?

The post is still under review, but if there's something wrong with it, let me know right away. If the problem isn't too big, I'll try to fix it.

post #10842899 - Upvotes and favs don't mean approvability.

post #10874991 - It feels kind of flat? The face and head esepcially lack depth to me. Keep up the good work though and don't be discouraged! Danbooru just has really high standards.

Sorry I can't hear you over the sound of wads of cash.

Said "poors" can revolt against the rich throwing trash on the streets via the "Flag" button on the sidebar when it smells really atrociously, and then they are also subject to the mercy of the super rich. Many such cases.

Submitting high grade materials onto the production line usually results in stable manufacturing that passes the inspection. Try to look over your cargo before loading them on, otherwise it may not be allowed to leave the dock or may face recall if they go out.

Translation of the above.

Blue member users can use the flag button if they think something is of poor quality no matter the rank of the uploader, just do so in good faith and not out of malice. (See howto:flag)

Uploading high quality art into the modqueue will usually see it get approved. Make sure you are uploading quality art that follows the upload rules (you can compare to other approved posts such as approver:any status:active if you're struggling with quality standards).

I got lost with the last part but you can appeal your posts, once personally for each post, if it doesn't pass and you believe it should. You can also consult the upload bounty thread (topic #24186) if you're struggling with finding high quality art to post.

The issue is the frequently used reasoning. When uploading content with with exaggerated proportions (huge, gigantic, not "hyper") the usual argument is "poor quality" or "upload rules". At the same time lots of images with the same kind of proportions are uploaded without any need for approval. I won't flag them, because i think they belong here. That makes flagging a very useless tool for achieving equality.
