Are all the posts supposed to be mashed together at the bottom of the page? No spacing between them at all?

No they should appear normally. You have anything blocked aka no script or the like?
I'm pretty sure I don't haven anything blocked. I wouldn't know how. I'm using IE8, default settings, never changed anything.
Here's what Danbooru (this site) looks like..

And now here's what the Danbooru 2 beta is showing as on my screen..

Something must not be right, seeing as the beta looks terrible for me.
It's probably just a cache issue. Try clearing IE8's 'Temporary Internet Files' and see if it fixes it.
That, or *cough* use Chrome *cough*.

Cleared that, still looks the same. I'm staying with relatives right now, usually I'd use Firefox or even IE9, so maybe it's just a problem with older versions of IE, like IE8. I'll see about trying it out on another browser if I can.

IE has always been the devil anyway.

This link looks like it should search for tiger_&_bunny but it's actually performing a search for just tiger_.
I'm guessing it's an issue with the ampersand character.
The tag subscription page has "fav:" in the title.

Right-clicking on images doesn't bring up any image-related right-click menu options.

jjj14: You'd probably wanna report those directly to DB2's issue tracker.
They're more likely to get noticed there, and they'd also easier to keep track of.
As far as I can tell, everything's working under Chrome on Win7. Tag color coding is probably not yet implemented, that's why I can't see that.
One problem, which is more of a nuisance than an issue is that I need to click the translate link and the image again for every note I want to add. I'd much rather see the translate link work as a toggle: hit it once, add all the notes you want, then hit it again to start typing up the notes and let you hide them.

Something akin to glasnost's Greasemonkey translation helper script from forum #38567?

Sorry if I repeat stuff, I didn't read through the entire thread. Some things missing, maybe you may have forgotten some of these:
Tag ? and wiki links
Tag types (artist, character, copyright)
Missing comment Post without bumping
Missing edit button on the left section of posts
Adding favourites and saving changes to a post doesn't create a confirmation message at the top of the page
Tags sorted alphabetically for one post (as I refreshed the page, last updated yesterday), but not for another (tags I recently updated)
I managed to find one bug:
Reverting tags (notes too?) is broken. It does nothing except add an additional empty tag edit entry in my history.
Again, sorry if these are known already, I'll try to see if I can find more.

I'm using Chrome, so I wouldn't really know, but from the documentation, yes, something like that, implemented into the site itself. How heavy would user opposition be?

This needs to be better documented but you can press ctrl+n to activate translation mode.
There are a few issues with note formatting. Danbooru 2 notes don't seem to recognize , , <big>, or <small>, but it does recognize <a href=""> links, and <font size="">/<font color="">Secondly, the positioning and size of notes aren't maintained when enlarging an image if the note is supposed to be small enough in the full size. Also, the minimum size being so large is somewhat limiting.Seconding Thunderbird's comment, it creates a new Firefox window, as well. Not having to re-initiate note mode after every note would be a lot less annoying and more simple.Edit: Actually, it seems you can make multiple notes at once if you just keep clicking on "translate." When you click they all appear on the same spot.Edit 2: The little, triangular tab for resizing notes shows up on top of the mouse-over text if it appears above another a note.

There's an error with reordering in pools. You can't reorder them.
I've noticed that unlike artist tags and copyright tags, a character tag won't become a character tag until there are at least two entries. Also, once a tag is an artist, copyright, or character tag, it can't be changed back into anything else.
One more thing, I miss the edit option on the right-hand side along with the one below every image. It was quicker to select for most images, and especially convenient on the long ones, since it sent you straight to the bottom. I'd probably prefer to have it on the right if I had to choose one. Even if it's arguably harder to find on the side, once you know its there it's a lot easier to use.

Don't really like adding to the pileup again so soon, but posts are also missing tooltips on hovering the thumbnails. And it doesn't save cookies for login credentials.
Those tooltips should be working. Tell me on what page you don't see them and what browser/OS you're using.
