AI-generated art check thread

Touch grass and fuck off. I ask a lot because I'm moderating forums where hundreds of new posts are coming every day. I want to stay on top of who is and isn't using ai and many artists have switched over to using ai.

You haven't even added anything of value to the site yet you're telling those who have to fuck off and expect people to do investigative work for you, do it yourself if it's for some other site.

This is why I said that having a name like "ai-tracker" is insidiously pretentious. Nearly all the forum posts you've made here are accusing random artists of AI generation like throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks, and when someone questions the absolute pot shots of submissions you post here, this is what you respond with.

Profound.

AI witchhunters are really just as bad as people who don't disclose their AI use, if not worse.

What do you think about post #9731216?

I don’t know. It looks suspicious (especially the girl’s hair), but the artist also posted a making-of on their twitter.

The timelapse is suspicious. They drew construction lines for the faces, then didn't position the girl's eyes according to the construction lines at all. The first sketch of linework completely aligned with the final. Some lines in the picture were missing from the timelapse like one of the girl's collars. Etc.

I think this post is worth flagging. It's weird why there are different levels of anti-aliasing in different parts of the drawing. Between the girl's hair shadow and the eyes there are blurs that don't make any sense. There are also the eyes and the blushes.

Artist has works from before AI was a thing, so I guess every post needs to be evaluated on its own. Is this one AI?

This is gonna be a lot of work. Suspicions towards this artist began as far as two years ago.

I always check how the bangs and sidelocks interact with eyebrows and lashes. When it's AI, there usually are lines that blend weirdly, color bleeding, strokes that get interrupted, or other suspicious things. In this example it looks a bit like AI, but the resolution is too low to tell for sure.

I can tell post #9749352 is AI though, with melting bangs, hair blending with ear, bikini top and breasts, bottom's side tie knots and such, and I don't think there is enough human input to be ai-assisted.

Edit to add: yeah, another user already pointed out in comment #2536533

To be fair, Ina is considered a bit of a demon for her drawing speed, but I do agree pomuya's art style does seem rather simple in comparison. It's really only the consistency of the uploads that makes me suspicious, especially considering their Patreon extras and the Bloodraven comic not disrupting their uploads.

Edit: I should also clarify that I think their art is likely AI-assisted rather than generated, so it may not belong in this thread.

That's on stream and interacting with people too; it's probably faster if it's the only thing an artist is doing.

The way I see it, without things from within the drawings themselves suggesting AI, other factors are really only circumstantial. Granted, that makes some of ai-assisted suspicions impossible to prove, but it's better this way.

On a separate note, a Bob Ross episode is under 30 minutes, and he was never in a rush. An hour is long if you focus.

Thoughts on nyanyaqwi? Significant style change over a 13 day gap that happens to resemble mashiro_www. The original twitter account has a long history so it's unclear to me if that person actually has the skill to mimic the style or if the person changed to ai-assistance. Details in the eyelashes and eyelash count are however more detailed and symmetrical.

nyanyaqwi's post #9481685 is also different style but I can't remember where I've seen that style before.
