This was my impression as well, but apparently it specifically refers to something that, while indeed giving the appearance of messy hair, seems to happen overwhelmingly in curly hair.
Well, doing some double-checking on rule34 and e621 (taking a fair bit of psychic damage in the process goddamn), I think I gotta agree that it's more on the messy hair side. Most of it seems to be tagged on either black women or Midoriya and while a moderate chunk are what I would tag curly, I'd tag more of them as messy.
I don't think it should be either, I think it should be deprecated. There's no point in having a utility alias that's ambiguous, better to deprecate it and then link to both curly & messy hair in the wiki page.
With forum #414072 including a fix for being able to "deprecate a tag with a deleted wiki", that brings question for the very few deprecated tags we have that have deleted wikis. I've tried to grind out the final few, to make them proper deprecation wikis, but sometimes you just gotta fold.
I legitimately cannot think of good wikis for these three, so we either undeprecate these or someone makes proper wikis for these.
Sexuality change was made and populated recently, so I think it's finally time to do something with these two.
orientation_play is not a "Rule34-type tag" but the standard name for the practice, like wax_play, pet_play, lotion_play, fire_play, pony_play, ageplay, etc. It is the term used in kink/BDSM communities where the practice originates, and searching "sexuality change" anywhere else returns irrelevant results.
Also, sexuality_change is not only ambiguous but outright inaccurate in some cases. In non-consensual scenarios the character's orientation is not changed at all. And even in consensual scenarios, you can't know whether the character was bisexual all along and simply hadn't expressed it before.
