The Wiki pages for the cover page sub-tags mostly state that they are intended to be used for both real and fake/mock-up covers, and the cover Wiki confirms that this interpretation is correct. There are three exceptions, however:
Both doujin_cover fake_cover and novel_cover fake_cover yield a non-zero number of results, so I'm not sure why the first two Wiki pages haven't been corrected to include this use case. And a quick look at the posts under blu-ray_cover shows that it's used for both real Blu-ray covers and fake ones (mostly real ones, in fact), so its Wiki should also be corrected so that it's less confusing.
As an aside, I find it a little odd that the Wiki for dvd_cover uses the umbrella term "home video release" when the name of the tag itself indicates that it's for DVDs only. Maybe this should be changed too.
I don't think we'll see the cover tags' wikis updated at least until topic #35537, topic #35640, topic #34645, etc. get resolved.
Color variation (how is this any different than alternate color or variations?)
Just throwing this out generically. Ensure virtual youtuber's wikis explicitly state when they share a RL identity with another one. This matters for voice actor connection purposes.

No, you should ensure this is not done as a general rule, even in exceptional circumstances like Dokibird. Our tagging does not take precedence over their privacy, especially since it might have real-world effects on their career. It's better for us to play it safe in this regard.

Did not consider the privacy impact, that makes sense. By that logic, I edited voice actor connection to reflect this.

at first I thought the tag could be something like multiple views but seeing how the tag is used mainly by one guy 90% of the time, I just think it's a case of two tag meaning the same thing like you said (alternate color)
Needs a wiki so we could imply it to both taur and exoskeleton tags.

It literally took longer to come here and request it than to just make it.

some people don't like or are aren't comfortable with writing Wikis.
The wiki for speedpaint needs to be rewritten, if it's even a tag we want to keep.
Would also need to link to a source model link if possible (this seems to be a character based on an often used VRChat model.
