[[solid circle pupils]]: Pupils Only or Full Eye Shape?

I previously created forum #434802, proposing a new tag “Moon Eyes” to describe fully round eyes like those seen on characters such as Pingu.

During a discussion on Discord with @tricyanoacetylene, I came to the conclusion that the current solid circle pupils tag name or its wiki definition may be incorrect.

According to the wiki, the tag implies not only circular pupils but also a fully round eye shape. However, there are counterexamples such as post #8490656 and post #10860916. In both cases, the pupils are clearly solid and circular, but the overall eye shape itself is not round.

So this raises a question about how the tag should be handled.
I see two possible approaches:

- Instead of creating a new “Moon Eyes” tag, rename solid circle pupils to “Moon Eyes” (or another appropriate name) and redefine it to specifically refer to fully round eyes like Pingu-style eyes.
- Keep solid circle pupils as a pupil-only descriptor by correcting its wiki, and proceed with forum #434802 to introduce a separate tag for the overall eye shape.

Which approach would be more appropriate?

The problem is that "solid circle pupils" is too ambiguous. post #11171627 and post #11277846 is solid circle pupils too.

I don't know what we could call this in a way that would solve ambiguity, at first I thought of just naming it pingu eyes or moomin eyes or something, but even those characters move their pupils around to the point where it would still be mistaken for the examples above in some way.

What if, and hear me out here, we went with... (o)_(o)? nevermind, tags can't start with a bracket. Tragic.

Not gonna lie, I'd tag most of these posts as no pupils, dilated pupils or solid eyes in the case of post #8490656. I didn't know solid circle pupils existed

I don't like the specification of round eyes in the solid circle pupils wiki because it's not obvious from the name alone, I prefer your suggestion about adjusting the wiki and creating a new tag for completely round eyes. With this tag maybe we can use a search like round_eyes no_pupils, since most artist will draw irises in a circle shape anyways
