Image Comics implications

BUR #58472 is pending approval.

create implication kick-ass -> image_comics
create implication the_walking_dead -> image_comics
create implication invincible_(series) -> image_comics
create implication spawn_(comic) -> image_comics
create implication witchblade -> image_comics
create implication the_maxx -> image_comics
create implication jupiter's_legacy -> super_crooks
create implication super_crooks -> image_comics
create implication generator_rex -> image_comics
create implication tech_jacket_(comic) -> image_comics

Would like to imply various Image Comics properties under the Image Comics tag, similarly to how we have Marvel and DC Comics arranged. Addendum on the Witchblade franchise below

BUR #58474 is pending approval.

create implication witchblade_(anime) -> witchblade_(comic)
mass update favgroup:54797 status:any -> witchblade_(comic) -witchblade_(anime)
create implication the_darkness -> witchblade_(comic)

Lastly, seperating the Witchblade Comic from the Witchblade Anime. I would personally later re-alias Witchblade_(comic) back into Witchblade but for now this will do.

Also implying The Darkness, a subseries of the Witchblade Comic, to the Witchblade Comic tag. Fair warning.

Are all of these series meant to be part of a shared universe? Because if not, there's no reason to make these implications.
We don't usually tag copyrights to the companies that make them, Marvel and DC are an exception because all of their products are meant to be part of the same setting.

I can tell you right now Generator Rex certainly doesn't fall into any of the other universes, and that the series actually published by Image Comics was M. Rex. In fact a version of Generator Rex later ends up in the same timeline as the Ben 10 reboot to make things even more complicated.

No clue what's going on with Witchblade. Are there enough adaptational differences/posts of each version to warrant a split? Read the wiki, apparently worth a split.

Some of these seem to be in a shared universe, but not all of them, and even then the Generator Rex implication is super unwarranted.

Some of these comics do take place in the same Universe, but like you said, all of them don't reside in one. Jupiter's Legacy and Super Crooks definitely do. As do Witchblade and The Darkness.

If this is the case, what's the point of the Image Comics tag? If every single image inside of it already has a franchise that can't be nested under Image?

Same reason TYPE-MOON exists, for references to the company itself or company connection illustrations. Doesn't mean that any of the illustrations currently apply.

Company tags are meant to be used for direct references to the company itself, such as its logo or mascot (which not otherwise connected to a copyright) or multiple of their IPs appearing together in one image.

Currently the only pics here that would qualify for the tag are those that show a comic cover with the Image logo visible.
