Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Please don't ever use the fact that it happened once as an argument for something. There's dozens of approvers, with many, many more contributors. Just because one of them let something bypass the queue that shouldn't have isn't an argument for anything. Someone made a mistake, and someone else has yet to come by to correct it. Sometimes there's ai-generated art active, that doesn't mean there is any reason to suddenly argue to start allowing it.

Appreciate the response. Seems my point was misunderstood or I wasn't clear, so to clarify: I wasn't arguing that the posts uploaded by snowpiercer should be allowed because an approver uploaded similar content. My point was that, from my pov at least, enforcement appears inconsistent.

If hard-translated posts are discouraged it should apply uniformly regardless of who uploads them. I was highlighting the inconsistency, not using it as justification for the deletions.

And I'm saying this inconsistency is completely expected and unavoidable. All kinds of mistakes happen all the time, and almost everyone can do something to rectify them (in this case it would be flagging).

Not sure if I’m using this correctly, but I just tried uploading an image for the first time and it got deleted. The post seems perfectly in line with other posts on here from the same artist, so I’m not sure why it wasn’t approved…

EDIT: ID for post in question: post #11222694

EDIT 2: Nevermind! Looks like someone approved and un-deleted it.

I uploaded an image at the same time someone else did. Is there a way to delete my submission myself, or do I have to wait for the three day timer to expire/mods to manually delete it?

No, uploaders can't delete their own submissions. You'll just need to wait for the three days to be up. It probably won't get manually deleted, which is a good thing since manual deletions take up five of your upload slots for three days.

By the way, the source of post #11248530 has a couple other images you can upload. One of them is a higher-resolution version of post #11248542.

i posted this because i thought the foreshortening was cool and someone flagged it "This isn't foreshortened, her body is just split into parts" this makes no sense. the artist draws a lot of posts with this same perspective. am i the only one thinks the perspective looks cool? it got 2 pqs. i fear it will stay deleted because it's netorare

Point me to where "the artists draws like that" is said to be a valid excuse for this mess of an image.

the two point perspective is right. it isn't low effort. the hands are drawn right. the walls are textured. the character design is right. i don't get it. can you point to me where the "mess" is?

And now I am here to wonder what exactly about this post is not fit for upload onto the site, and I do not want to hear the same old "anatomy is bad, others think it is not good" excuse. A legitimate reason besides not caring or "anatomy bad" which is an inconsistently held standard even for some of the same approvers would be appreciated.

This site has a total of forty approvers at most, correct?
