Is there a reason this was deleted? post #11151475
All the children of this post #11150146 were deleted as well. Am I using the child post function incorrectly? They're all alternate versions of the file.

You parented the posts correctly, though for larger sets like this, you may want to consider making a pool instead. None of this has any bearing on whether your posts get approved, however.

Not an Approver, but I'd probably be turned off by the shoulders on the first two and the torso rotation on the last two.

what's wrong with post #11209704
Is it a problem with the left arm?
Anyone know why post #11194261 was not approved, while TWO Harribel sketches, Dalk and Viser from High School DXD was?

These 4 posts were deleted because they are hard-translated to english, but we have no rules banning posts of such kind from here. The wiki document of hard-translated tag says it is discouraged to upload these images because:
1. image quality issues
2. typographical issues
3. difficulty of confirming the correctness of the translations
But,
1. Three posts' image file sizes are close to that of the originals. This fact suggests that the qualities of images would equal the originals'. And the visible quality degradation is also not apparent.
2. The font used in the images are readable with no caution.
In addition, all the hard-translated images are setted as the children of the originals, following the guideline wiki document suggests when uploading the images.
So I think these 4 images should be undeleted.

Non-original hard translations should be made children of the original images whenever the latter can be found.
The sentence above is written in the hard-translated wiki document. If keeping hard-translated child with original parent is not allowed, then why that sentence exists?

I think it refers to cases where the original isn't found until the hard-translated variant has already been uploaded.

That's a faulty assumption. Even good artists will mess up on some of their works. There's been some artists I'd upload from but end up skipping over some of their images because of some flaw. For example, I uploaded several works from getsuyoshi but decided to skip asset #39893517 because of the weird perspective on the character's left arm.

What StarfishAtLarge said. Also, some users will ignore this and post a hard-translated version anyway even after the original was uploaded. It's true that users shouldn't be uploading them in that case, but that doesn't change the fact that they're still on the site, so they need to be properly tagged, parented, etc. just like any other post.
This applies to any third-party edit. We don't allow nude filters under any circumstance, but they still need to be parented to the original if they're uploaded.
Are there periods of time where it's better to upload and times when it's better to wait? Because I posted a series of 3 images, one after the next, and the first two got approved very quickly, but the third one didn't
post #11207075 i think this is high quality enough, why isnt this being approved this is genuinely disheartening to me i dont even feel like uploading anymore

Don't be so disheartened! Someone else approved it before I could but sometimes good art can just go unnoticed in the modqueue.

Just my two cents and nothing against RJA/Yukishiro or anyone here... But you picked one of the worst possible translators/translations to upload.
"Why Rin forget about me"
"It make me can" makes absolutely no sense.
"To make you allow to interviewing face-to-face to the students" also makes no sense.
Regarding the hard-translated guidelines in the wiki and CR's reply, if it applies to one shouldn't it apply to all of them? I pointed this out previously elsewhere, but post #11145597 is still active. Similar to my previous reply in this thread, the only difference is that it was uploaded by an approver, which obviously bypasses limits and queue.
Finally, would like some feedback on what's wrong this time with post #11216949

Please don't ever use the fact that it happened once as an argument for something. There's dozens of approvers, with many, many more contributors. Just because one of them let something bypass the queue that shouldn't have isn't an argument for anything. Someone made a mistake, and someone else has yet to come by to correct it. Sometimes there's ai-generated art active, that doesn't mean there is any reason to suddenly argue to start allowing it.
