Standardizing wiki pages on the help: namespace

BUR #58079 is pending approval.

create alias howto:pawoo -> help:pawoo
create alias howto:nijie -> help:nijie
create alias howto:tumblr -> help:tumblr
create alias howto:tinami -> help:tinami
create alias howto:nicoseiga -> help:nicoseiga
create alias howto:artstation -> help:artstation
create alias howto:drawcrowd -> help:drawcrowd
create alias howto:ehentai -> help:ehentai
create alias howto:twitter -> help:twitter
create alias howto:yandere -> help:yandere
create alias howto:bluesky -> help:bluesky
create alias howto:deviantart -> help:deviantart
create alias howto:pixiv -> help:pixiv

This is to work towards standardizing all help pages on using the help: namespace. This will break old links inside various places like comments, forum posts, and feedbacks, which is why these are aliases; so that in the future, aliases can be treated as redirects when applied to wikis.

Starting with howto: pages for various sites. Most of these pages don't really need to exist and should probably just be nuked because there's nothing to say besides "paste the link on the upload page".

I suppose one suggestion for possibly remedying the issue of them being redundant is writing instructions on how to manually upload from the site when our bookmarklet inevitably breaks down again for something. As while uploading from Twitter is generally as simple as "past link and there you go", a manual upload when the downloader breaks requires some more work, which a newbie or user not used to manual uploading might not be familiar with.

Just a potential suggestion though. If we don't want to do that, then I agree that most these pages ought to be nuked.

I would appreciate a manual upload howto.

it's not clear to me what is the advantage of moving the "how to upload from this site" guides from the howto namespace to the help namespace, specially considering it breaks existing links and they are already "standardized" in the howto namespace

i was under the impression that aliases were automatically retired after a while? to keep the old links working wouldn't it need to be a permanent redirect?

assuming that this is just so that help:pawoo shows in the autocomplete wouldn't it make more sense to invert the alias and make help:pawoo redirect to howto:pawoo?

Evazion wants every help page under help: and for the howto: namespace to be fully unused eventually.

i understand that part, i'm just not sure what is the advantage of the page being called help:pawoo instead of howto:pawoo.

the "about:" namespace is kind of random so it's the exact same thing as "help:" but "howto:" is only for guides to upload to a specific website, so it's kind of "standardized" already the same way the "taggroup" namespace is standardized for tag groups

ultimately it's evazion who decides the structure of the site but since this thread was open i thought i'd add my 2 cents
