sitting on fence implication

Posted under Tags

Please don't make BUR dumps like these for completely different objects. All of these BURs are questionable/debatable, and we'd have to have overlapping discussions that would be hard to follow if we kept them all in this topic.

sitting on fence and on fence seem to have some overlap with against_fence, and a massive untagged overlap with against railing.

on_table lying has a comparable amount of results to on_table sitting. We tend to create subtags for on_* tags when they are the exception to the rule, such as standing on chair, but here there is no "canonical" way to be "on" a table, so it makes sense to have separate tags. We also have on_desk and derivatives (standing on desk).

remove implication sitting_on_stairs -> stairs
create implication sitting_on_stairs -> on_stairs
create implication on_stairs -> stairs

implication sitting_on_stairs

Another debatable BUR. on stairs is a fourth of the size of sitting on stairs. Do we really have that little standing on stairs tags, or is it simply untagged? stairs -sitting_on_stairs has 30k results. Should all examples of characters standing on stairs be tagged on stairs, or do we need to make sitting on stairs, lying on stairs etc and deprecate on stairs?

create alias sitting_on_books -> sitting_on_book
create implication sitting_on_book -> book
create implication sitting_on_book -> sitting

Refer to sitting on box (remove the "s")
If there are multiple books, add the tag pile_of_books

Do we need the distinction between sitting on a pile of books and sitting on an open book (post #6469530)? I created sitting on open book for now.

We also have on_book and standing on book, and the lone thing like post #177852. We probably need an umbrella for people on top of books in general. I would argue it's fine to make sitting on single book to distinguish it from the usual book pile, given the amount of permutation of characters on books that we have.

pile of books is different from book stack.

Made forum #433305 for a general on book topic.
